Scope of the Project

The scope of the review encompasses four major areas: (a) Context-examination of national and local environment in which the AWEE programme operates with a particular attention to changes, (b) Results-showing a picture of achievements and overall performance of the AWEE programme during the implementation period (progress against targets and indicators), (c) Analysis and lessons learned-examination of factors that have enabled or prevented the achievement of results described, and (d) Action-identification of action points/recommendation for consideration by UN Women

Conducted Mid-Term Review (MTR) of the Advancing Women's Economic Empowerment (AWEE) – Ensuring Nepal's Sustainable and Equitable Development 2015-2017 Programme. Supported by Finland Embassy
Assessed progress to date against the ProDoc, key achievements and progress to date, adjusted strategies, targets and indicators as appropriate
Analysed enabling factors that have enabled and challenges that have prevented result
Identified areas for improvement for remaining phase of the AWEE programme, moving forward
